Show Jumping Clinic

Prepare yourself for a show jumping competition with our introductory clinic!

The session will run for 3 hours from tack up to untacking, including a jumping lesson, a 15 minute break followed by riding a course in a competition setting. Participants must be existing intermediate to advanced level with foundations of jumping. If you are not a regular Woodlands student, please book in an assessment lesson prior to booking the clinic. This can be arranged via email to bookings@woodlands.melbourne

THINGS TO NOTE: 

1. Wear long pants/jodhpurs and riding boots. Body protectors/vests are compulsory. Chaps are optional. Inappropriate clothing will result in forfeit of the session.

2. We can provide helmets (limited sizes available). Wearing a current Australian standard safety horse riding helmet is compulsory. If you require a customised helmet for any reason, you will need to advise Woodlands if anything can be arranged, otherwise you will have to provide this yourself. Not being able to wearing a helmet will result in forfeit of the session.

3. Arrival time is 15 minutes prior to session time for check-in to ensure all documents have been signed. Latecomers of more than 15 minutes will result in forfeit of the session.

4. Minimum numbers will be required to run the clinic, a date change may occur to accommodate for this.

5. Instructors will take photos and/or videos and can be downloaded via a link emailed to you automatically after each session within 48 hours (upon request, but will not be guaranteed due to safety of the session). Lockers will be available, otherwise leave your belongings in your vehicle as no loose items or phones will be allowed in pockets during the session.

6. No spectators will be allowed to enter the riding area. There is no pedestrian walking trail on our private farm property. Only booked participants permitted to enter the property.

**IMPORTANT: For bookings with less than a day notice or same day bookings, please call ahead to confirm availability (Office Hours: Wednesday-Sunday 8:30am-5:00pm). No guarantee of availability if no advance bookings have been made, as bookings normally require more than 24 hours notice so that we can arrange suitable horses and sufficient staffing. Public holiday surcharges apply.
