Equine Partnerships: Horsemanship and Learning Through Horses

An interactive and experimental approach to help you discover more about yourself and horses through non-verbal communication, trust-building, self-awareness and emotional regulation. This clinic offers an entry level opportunity to focus on improving self-confidence and self-esteem, enhance your communication and relationship skills, increase emotional intelligence and apathy, offer stress reduction and relaxation and to enhance your problem-solving and decision making abilities. In this clinic we will also cover off; Understanding Horse Behavior, Body Language Interpretation, Handling and Safety, Ground Work Techniques, Equine Psychology and Building Relationship and Consent.

THINGS TO NOTE: 

1. Wear long pants and covered shoes such as runners/sneakers or boots. Inappropriate clothing will result in forfeit of the session.

2. We will provide helmets.

3. Arrival time is 15 minutes prior to start time. Latecomers will result in forfeit of the session.

4. Minimum numbers will be required to run the clinic, a date change may occur to accommodate for this.

5. Instructors will take photos and/or videos and can be downloaded via a link emailed to you automatically after each session within 48 hours (upon request, but will not be guaranteed due to safety of the session). Lockers will be available, otherwise leave your belongings in your vehicle as no loose items or phones will be allowed in pockets during the session.

6. No spectators will be allowed to enter the demonstration area. There is no pedestrian walking trail on our private farm property. Only booked participants permitted to enter the property.
